Hello, my name is Mark Burney former Semi-Professional comic now turned DJ.  I've been a DJ for approximately 10 years and have assumed the role of being an eclectic entertainer.  Entertainment has been a major part of my life and I make sure that everyone is smiling and laughing and having a great time. 

I performed Stand-up Comedy for approximately 6 years and have shared the stage with many famed comedians such as Bill Belamy, Jeff Dunham, Thea, John Henton, Doug Stanhope, and many more.  Stage performances include venues such as Laffs, Comedy Corner, Jokers, The Comedy Store, Dallas West End and many more.   

My DJ performances varies from Weddings, School Dances, Social parties, Military functions, and Outdoor activities.  Venues include: Cox Business Services Convention Center, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma Air Guard, Doubletree Hotel, along with many churches and schools.  I have on hand a variety of Music ranging from 50's to present: Country, R&B, Pop Hits, Old School and Jazz.  I also supply a wide selection of Karaoke tracks for those whom wish to live on the wild side.

Whilst enjoying the sounds, I provide a lighting environment that will keep the party going, with Strobe lights to Colored Flashing Can Lights that reacts to the beat of the music. My name is Matthew Gordin and I have been in the mobile DJ business for about 15 years. I also am in radio in Oklahoma City. I attended college for a degree in broadcasting.

I have had the great honor over the past 15 years to work with some the greatest mobile DJ companies and have had the opportunity to DJ at many wedding receptions and other parties.  Some where I grew up in Indiana and have continued working with when I moved to Oklahoma.  I welcome any parties and in any location. Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, or Kansas, I go all over to perform at events. I perform at events for small to large crowds and cater to your needs. I play for weddings, reunions, school parties, church events, fundraisers and so much more

I will take a lot of pride in performing at your event.  For me, each and every party where I perform is of the utmost importance to me. . 

I believe you have to love what you do. I believe having a DJ that takes pride and puts everything into it is going to get everything out of it. So rest assured you’re not getting a DJ that just plays music or was hired by someone just to show up and play music. I meet with you personally and get to know you, and most of all, get to know exactly what you are looking for and what you want to take place at your party. I want you and your guests to have the most fun they have ever had at a party.

I welcome your requests. I’m not at your party promote Matt Gordin. I’m at your event to do what you need and play the music you want to hear and have a great time. Like radio I love listener interaction, and at your event I love to get out from behind the DJ booth and lead line dances and all kinds of different interaction dances so that your guest have a great time. I am there for you and your guests.

Also what is important at an event is that it runs smoothly. When I meet with you several weeks before your event, I will go over everything with you and your party planner to insure that everything happens the way you want it and in the order you want it. Be assured I am the kind of person that wants things organized and in order so everyone has a great time and at the end of the dance you are very satisfied. And by coming by and meeting with you on a one-on-one basis, you will feel great comfort in knowing that I will show up at your event on time and that I stand by all that I say.

The Equipment I use is very professional and not bought at the five and dime store. You can rest at ease knowing your guests will love the Sound and Light show at every party.
